One of our core beliefs at Gun Gallery is education and training. The more responsible and knowledgeable gun owners are, the more secure of a society we will have. We strive to make those of you that have never owned a firearm before or are scared of the thought of using a firearm feel more comfortable and confident in the use of firearms. This is why we offer a variety of classes for all levels of knowledge and experience.

Concealed Weapons Class

The state of Florida allows for legal carry of a handgun and some other weapons, concealed from view by licensed individuals. Florida has made this license easy to obtain by law abiding, trained individuals. A concealed weapons class provides the required training, and is the first step in obtaining the license. Once you have the certificate of completion for the concealed weapons class you can make an appointment with the Florida Department of Agriculture to apply for the license. While at this appointment you will fill out an application, and they will take your fingerprints and photo. Once done with the appointment all you have to do is wait for them to mail you your license. It’s very easy.

Class Details:
Cost: $80.00 per person, plus ammunition.
Schedule: Classes are conveniently held on the first and third Wednesday of every month.
Don’t have a gun? No problem! A firearm will be provided for your use at no extra charge, you only pay for the ammunition.

Basic Handgun & Instruction

Enhance your personal safety and gain confidence with our Basic Handgun & Instruction course. Led by Roger F. Carlson, a highly respected NRA Certified Instructor and Police Firearms Instructor, this course provides the essential knowledge and skills you need to handle a handgun safely and responsibly.

Beginners AR-15 Training

Looking to master the AR-15 platform with a foundation of safety and skill? Join Roger F. Carlson, an accomplished NRA and Police Firearms Instructor, for his comprehensive AR-15 training classes. Our courses are meticulously designed to take you from a novice to a proficient marksman, covering essential topics such as the four universal rules of firearm safety, a detailed breakdown of AR-15 nomenclature and function, and fundamental shooting principles like proper stance, grip, and trigger control. You will gain hands-on experience with live fire drills tailored to build confidence, accuracy, and safe gun-handling habits that will last a lifetime. Additionally, we’ll cover ammunition selection, rifle cleaning and maintenance, and basic malfunction clearing, ensuring you are fully prepared to operate and maintain your rifle responsibly. Whether for personal defense, sport, or recreation, our expert instruction will equip you with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to handle the AR-15 with competence and confidence.
